1 Gallery Images	James Cross, played by Patrick Mower Patrick Mower played James Cross who replaced Toby Meres for a while, and who appeared to be equally, if not even more ruthless. One of Hunter's 'Bright Young Men' he internalised everything, and eventually died doing his job; Dr. Snell considered that he had, in effect, committed suicide but Callan preferred to think that his death was an accident.
