Hoggish Greedly's dangerous oil drilling awakens the spirit of the earth Gaia from her long slumber. Disgusted with the state of the planet due to pollution and neglect, Gaia summons to her island five young teenagers and gives them the ability to control the elements and to spread the message of environmental harmony. Their first mission as these "Planeteers" is to stop Greedly's drilling, but they soon find the task impossible to achieve on their own, they must learn to let their powers combine...



2 :01x02 - Rain of Terror

Mat-Ti runs away after being humiliated on an obstacle course, leading the Planeteers into a mission without their fifth element. Evil mutant rodent Venomous Skumm plots to bombard the population of a city with manufactured Acid Rain



3 :01x03 - Beast of the Temple

Hoggish Greedly and Rigger journey to Thailand and use a mechanical dragon to scare away the native population so they can feast on opening mining for rubies. Wheeler gets too close to the action and is captured, leaving a distraught Linka behind.



4 :01x04 - Skumm Lord

Venomous Skumm unleashes his "rat rot" a toxin that mutates anyone it touches into a half man/half rat creature. Wheeler is soon affected, with Captain Planet unable to help after a treacherous sneak attack infects him with the poison, putting him out of action until he recovers. Skumm prepares to take the rat rot to the air in his Skumm-O-Copter



5 :01x05 - Deadly Ransom

Doctor Blight and Duke Nukem stage an elaborate trap for the Planeteers that results in the capture of Captain Planet himself...



6 :01x06 - The Conqueror

The Planeteers encounter Zarn, a former spirit of the earth, who tempts them with the powers of the Iron Fist. Their powers increased ten times in contras to their rings, the Planeteers become corrupted and menacing. Only Ma-Ti refuses temptation and supports Gaia as she weakens heavily from the abuse of power demonstrated by Zarn's new recruits, can they be dissuaded before they trigger a nuclear conflict?

Hoggish has set up a new commercial fishing business in the amazon, but when discovers that a group of local river Dolphins are literatly eating into his fishing profits, he schemes to eliminate the problem. Upon being breifed by Gaia, the Planeteers quickly race to make sure the amazon rivers are not made "Dolphin-Safe" simply for the sake of progress..
