Big Ten Football Championship


The Big Ten Football Championship Game will consist of the champion of the Legends Division playing the champion of the Leaders Division, with the winner earning the Big Ten Championship and a chance to play in either the Rose Bowl Game or Bowl Championship Series National Championship Game. The game will be broadcast on FOX Sports from 2011-16, and played at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis from 2011-15.

Starting in 2014 with the addition of two additional schools into the Big Ten, the divisions are being renamed East & West. The Big Ten champion will advance to the College Football Playoff if ranked #4 or higher nationally. Otherwise, the champion will play in the Rose Bowl Game in years when the Rose Bowl is not part of the playoff bracket, otherwise in the Cotton, Fiesta or Chick-fil-A Bowl.
