The series was renamed 'Love Island' for the second series. Patrick Kielty and Fearne Cotton present the romantic reality show from Fiji, where a new batch of 11 celebrities will be tempted to fall in love.

The female line-up includes model Sophie Anderton, It girl Lady Victoria Hervey, former Eternal member Kelle Bryan, party girl Alicia Douvall, Playboy favourite Colleen Shannon and Paul Gascoigne's stepdaughter Bianca, while Strictly Come Dancing star Brendan Cole, ex-Hollyoaks actor Lee Otway, Pierce Brosnan's son Chris, Leo Ihenancho from the Streets and Boyzone alumnus Shane Lynch are the men hoping to woo them. Paul Danan returned as a contestant one week into the second series' run.

Kelly Brook presented the first series with Patrick Kiety. The first series winners were Fran Cosgrave and Jayne Middlemiss.
