Week after week, the war was brought front and center into American homes by master storyteller,John Sacret Young. The war was seen through the eyes of central character Nurse Colleen McMurphy,played with Emmy winning intensity by Dana Delany. The supporting cast also included Jeff Kober as soldier Evan "Dodger"Winslow,an enigmatic loner who represented the lost youth of his generation.
