When the two friends speak with the old dog, they’re told that they’ve been framed. The two groups of friends don’t get along very well, but they soon realize that they have a mutual enemy in Fat Cat. However, when the four of them head to find Geegaw, they find his daughter, Gadget, instead. However, they soon become shocked when Chip and Dale discover that their friend has been sent to the pound, and is scheduled to be put to sleep. Once they do so, they’ll be able to break into just about any building they want, and destroy those who oppose them. In order to protect it, he leaves the Rescue Rangers’ base and makes a wish, though the genie tricks him into switching places with him. However, when she discovers that the inventor’s pet has actually been sabotaging his inventions, she plans to expose the cat in order to help her new friend succeed. Their new policy is soon put to the test when they learn of a recent string of crimes, and when they investigate, they discover that the man responsible is a very tiny individual who acts as a baby. He pretends to have been abandoned by at a family’s doorstep, and when they take him in, he robs them blind in the middle of the night.
