: Blood that was found on plastic ties binding Imette St. Guillen has been matched to Darryl Littlejohn, who has now been named a prime suspect rather than just a ‘person of interest’ in this horrific case. : New York City investigators are working nonstop in an attempt to break the case in the murder of Imette St. Guillen, the young student who was brutally tortured and killed, her body later dumped.
The bouncer at the bar she was last seen in is still in custody as a person of interest and was included in a line up of rape suspects viewed by what could be another victim of his. While this woman did not, repeat, did not identify him as her attacker, police still have reason to believe he may be involved in other attacks.
What are referred to as ‘ear witnesses’ are coming forward with accounts of hearing Imette and the bouncer, Darrell Littlejohn, arguing outside the bar in one of the two vans he owns. Both vans are being combed by forensic investigators. Early results have indicated there’s a match in fibers found on Imette’s body and in Littlejohn’s home.
Experts continue to insist that this was a well thought out murder and shows signs of having been done before.

There were two vans that belonged to him that are being searched for fibers and blood, along with other DNA. Physical evidence is anxiously awaited. Police Commissioner, Ray Kelly, warns that Littlejohn is officially just a ‘person of interest’ at this point. Interviews are still being conducted and witnesses are encouraged.
Reports are circulating that the bar owner withheld information, for whatever his reasons, which may have caused serious delays in finding evidence. Police, however, refuse to give up and are intensely pursuing this case.
