When cosmetics queen Viveca Scott is blackmailed by one of her firm's chemists, Karl Lessing, who has created a miracle cream for removing wrinkles, she goes into a rage and murders him. Despite the involvement of Scott's rival, David Lang, Columbo naturally suspects Scott from the start, but how can he prove she did it?
