Neither of the show's stars, Vic Morrow and Rick Jason, appear in this episode. Doc and Braddock carry the load for the good guys.

This episode marked the final appearance of Shecky Greene as Braddock. Greene left the series due to scheduling conflicts with his burgeoning career in stand-up comedy.

Frank Sutton would again play a serviceman only of a comic variety in Gomer Pyle USMC.
