• Funeral for Street actress Perrie |
Famous faces from Coronation Street joined family and friends of soap star Lynne Perrie at her funeral in South Yorkshire on Wednesday.
The 75-year-old Rotherham-born actress, who played factory worker "Poison" Ivy Tilsley in the ITV show from 1979 to 1994, died after a stroke last month.
Ms Perrie had suffered ill health for a number of years.
Chris Quentin, who played her son Brian in the soap, described her as a great entertainer and a fantastic actress.
Arriving for the service at Herringthorpe Crematorium in Rotherham, he said she had loved being Ivy Tilsley.
