The fight at The Wit takes an even uglier turn, and after it's over Christina finds herself not only on the outs with her former best friend Pia, but also shunned by Renee and Nora. Shaken up, Christina seeks advice from Leah on how to deal with the aftermath. After some tough talk, Christina decides to confront Nora and Pia. Equally shocked and hurt by the behavior of her friend, Pia struggles to make sense of it all while continuing to fend off the badgering of an increasingly hostile and judgmental Renee. Meanwhile, Renee is confronted by an old nemesis of her own, her ex-husband who is seeking sole custody of her youngest daughter, Isabella. And, as she begins her journey to find out the truth behind her father's mysterious death and burial, Nora offers emotional support to both, Renee and Pia, with mixed results.
In the aftermath of their fight, Christina and Pia declare their friendship officially over. While Christina licks her wounds and whines to Leah, Pia attempts to reach out to Renee by surprising her at her eyeglass shop. But things take a nasty turn when Renee suspects that her boyfriend Dave and Pia have a history. Nora continues to process her father's death by hosting a memorial luncheon for "The German," that goes terribly awry. Meanwhile, Leah is tired of "beefing" and wants to broker peace between Pia and Christina and her and Nora. When the ladies meet up for drinks, the tension is so thick you could break it with Christina's brass knuckles.
Christina sets out to settle differences with Pia. Elsewhere, Nora is hell-bent on cornering Renee about her disrespectful conduct.
Pia and Nora are now united in their mutual hatred of Renee, though Nora's obsession with Renee is starting to wear on Pia. Christina shares her anguish over her divorce with Leah, who is emotionally undone by news of her mother's battle with breast cancer. Meanwhile, Renee's adult daughter, Giana struggles with her mother's offer to go with her to visit her father in prison. Nora celebrates her birthday by inviting everyone, but Renee to go-kart racing. Nora's continued rants about Renee push Pia to lose her patience and reveal a secret about Nora that threatens to end their friendship forever.
Christina is having a party to celebrate new beginnings in her life. Her timing, however, could not be worse. Pia and Nora are not speaking after their blowout, Renee and Nora haven't recovered from their barroom brawl, and Pia and Renee still can't stand each other. Taking a cue from Christina, the women attempt to get past the drama and fighting to get their own lives back on track. Nora re-focuses her energies on solving the mystery of her father's "missing" body while Renee deals with fazing her boyfriend, Dave, out of her life and their business. But on the night of Christina's party, simmering tensions and hurt feelings erupt in a surprising, chaotic and brutal outcome.

To prep for Leah's mother's breast cancer walk, Christina invites Pia, Renee, and Leah to her home to decorate t-shirts. But just before the party, Christina has a huge falling out with Pia and Renee and the drama boils over in Christina's kitchen. Meanwhile, Renee heads back to court for the final showdown with her ex while her daughter Giana hits the road to get some answers from her father in prison. Nora does her best to stay out of the drama and comes one step closer to solving the growing mystery surrounding her father's burial.

Despite their differences, all the women finally gather for Leah's mother breast cancer walk. When Leah requests the group to stay together, Pia and Renee create more tension by distancing themselves from the group. This does not sit well with Leah. Meanwhile, the ladies are moving up and on with their lives. Pia tries to resolve her issues with both Christina and Nora while also looking to kick-start her new modeling career. Nora gets closer to finding closure with her father's death. Christina doggedly pursues a career in fashion, and Renee and Dave make one last attempt to save their relationship-- but is it too late?
In the Season 1 finale, Nora's years-long struggle to exhume her father's body reaches a crucial stage. Elsewhere, Leah faces the possibility of a big loss.
