Since Marta now believes Schiller murdered her husband, she asks Andrei and Luther to help her come up with a revenge plan to kill him during the gun exchange. Also, an emboldened Marta approaches Alexandra to take over Schiller's drug trade; and a remorseful Irwin tells Kat he wants to make up for the damage he's done.

1x8: The Hit recap: The episode begins with Marta arriving at a sushi bar where Schiller is having lunch. She says she wanted to have a talk with him in a public place. She says that Irwin killed Vincent, but Schiller seems unaffected. She, in the course of their conversation, manages to convince Schiller not to kill Irwin until the guns are safely brought in. She states that she needs Irwin’s help in this operation. Schiller makes it clear to her that after the job is done all bets are off. 1x7: The Coke recap: The episode begins with Schiller and Alexandra, arriving at the docks to meet Marta. Alexandra is there to find out if Marta has organized everything for the arrival of her shipment. Schiller assures Alexandra that her guns will be safely delivered to her. Schiller instructs Vincent, his minion, to drop Alexandra back at her car. After she has walked off, Schiller reveals to Marta that it was Alexandra’s coke that Irwin, Mike, and her husband had stolen. Schiller covered Alexandra’s loss by paying her, but lost her trust. 1x6: The Captive recap: The episode begins with Marta telling her father and Irwin that she has found Schiller’s cocaine, but doesn’t tell them where it is. Irwin suggests they sell it and make some money, but Andrei, Marta’s father, feels she should use this cocaine to join hands with Alexandra against Schiller. During their conversation, Andrei’s wife comes and places something she has cooked for them on the table. Andrei tells her off for interrupting their conversation and she walks away visibly hurt. 1x5: The Recorder recap: The episode begins with a man named Pasha playing with little Marta, when her father comes and orders her to go to her room. Back in the present, Marta enters Schiller’s office and asks him what her next assignment is. He says he is looking at a new piece of business, but the person involved is being difficult, so he wants her help in improving relations with this person. She asks Schiller who this person is, but he says she is overreaching. Their conversation is interrupted, when Schiller’s father enters and says he wants to talk to Marta. 1x4: The Escape recap: The episode begins with Kat and Marta meeting with a guy, who can help create a fake identity for Marta and her family. Marta is still adamant about her decision to get out of town, and relocate to some place where Schiller won’t find her. Marta offers the guy $50,000, and he agrees to have Canadian passports ready by the next day. Marta tells Kat she will go to Canada with the kids and, from there, fly to some undisclosed location. Irwin is released from prison, and Marta is there to pick him up. She tells him that Schiller wants her to work for him, and Irwin blames himself for that.
