Episode Quotes
(Jim signs up for "Better Brother")
Better Brother: Do you have any children of your own Mr. Jefferies?
Jim: No, no...The occasional scare, you know. You leave it in, you wonder for a week or two. But, I do have a disabled friend that I live with, and he's severely disabled. ... Steven Hawking without the intelligence. I mean, his intelligence isn't effected, but he's not that bright.

(Ramona corrects Jim and defends her nephew's class)
Ramona: I prefer the term "Black" to African American, and they're all not gangbangers, (Mocks Jim's accent)Dick head.

(Ramona brings Clay to work because he got suspended)
Jim: What did you get suspended for?
Clay: Not showing up.
Jim: So the punishment is they're going to make you "not show up" to school. Jeez, that'll teach ya.

(Ramona tells Jim that Clay idolizes him)
Ramona: That boy thinks your some kind of Jesus. Not the kind of Jesus, thank the Lord, that walked upon the water. No. Not the kind of Jesus, thank Ya, that miracle... and fed the multitudes with fish, but the kind of Jesus that stands on stage with filthy trash coming out of his pie hole!
Jim: I didn't even know there was type of Jesus. If I did, I would have been on board years (Gets slapped by Ramona) What was that for?
Ramona: Blasphemy.
Jim: Jesus! (Gets slapped again)

(Ramona has Jim hit Clay upside his head)
Clay: What was that for?
Ramona: For being stupid and running from the police while being black.
Jim: There's a lesson to be learned here. Never run and be black. Steve would you do that?
Steve: Not while black, no.

(Jim remembers that Clay knows people with coke)
Clay: Can you take me someplace?
Jim: (Hesitates) Okay. We'll get some coke, but this is a one off thing.
Clay: Nah man. I don't want no coke!
Jim: (Stunned) I don't think I've ever heard anyone say that sentence.

(Jim lays comedy and life advice out for Clay)
Jim: You see this situation? This isn't your fault Clay. That's out of your hands. You've got a few choices. You can get angry at this, you can. You can lash out at the world or you can just laugh at it. Crying or laughing, that's all you got.
