Prev: 4x13 -- Finally Finishing a Kitchen (Jan/16/2013)

Host Matt Blashaw challenges a married couple, Tim and Vicki Peterson, to finally finish their overdue kitchen renovation, which has been sitting untouched for three years. Matt and guest judge, kitchen expert Guy Hazan, will inspect the new space and estimate its cost. If their estimate is more than what Tim and Vicki actually spent on their remodel, the Petersons win the difference in cash!! Tim and Vicki had planned to remodel their kitchen several years ago, but the downturn in the economy forced them to hold off until they could afford to fully renovate. They've lived in their demolished kitchen - without walls, a ceiling, or a stove - for longer than they'd hoped, and they're ready to dig in and get the job done. Vicki knows what she wants, and she's waited a long time for it, and Tim thinks he can deliver. He's done renovation in the past, and they remodeled their bathroom together, but is their ambition greater than their ability? And will their new kitchen be worth the wait?
