Episode Notes

Julia Duffy is introduced as Allison Sugarbaker. She was brought in to fill the void of Delta Burke, who left the series after a fued with the producers in the previous series.

Jan Hooks is introduced as Carlene Frazier Dobber. Carlene is Charlene's younger sister, who would be used to fill the void of Jean Smart, who chose to leave the series this season.

The show's opening titles sequence is changed from the traditional sequence to a version with full lyrics and a cast ensemble, all gathering around a piano.
