In this anime, Shin'ichi Kudou is a high school student and a famous detective at the same time. He has helped the police solved many crimes. One day, he is poisened and transformed into a 6 year old boy. Fearing those who have poisened him might come after him knowing that he is still alive, he hide his identity and begin a new life as Conan Edogawa, a name based on the famous author Sir Arthur Conan Doyle.
