A bit over the top...Rating: 1 likes, 0 dislikes
Unfortunately, this show is over-produced, typical of reality shows. There is enough real drama on Donner Pass in the winter, why clutter it up with fake drama that wouldn't fool a five year old. From fake truck horns every few minutes to staged tows, to staged incidents, etc., just too much clutter from the producers, when the show could have been first quality by just following the reality of the severity of the weather on Donner, and the people that keep the road open.

It sure gives tow truck operators a bad name. The only group that seemed to be pictured in any resemblance to reality was the Sierra Towing group out of Colfax. The show tries to depict tow operators as fast buck artists, and I don't think the long term tow operators could co-exist with the CHP and Caltrans if that was the case.
