Recap

As DemiDevimon informs Myotismon that the DigiDestined have returned to the Real World, digimon throughout the city continue searching for the eighth child. Myotismon orders him to prevent the gang from locating the eighth child.
Elsewhere, the gang needs to get to Odiva, so they decide to take a train. Tsunomon and Koromon see the oncoming train, and, thinking it is one of Myotismon's henchmen, they jump in front of it! Luckily they narrowly avoid getting hit. Later, aboard the train, Sora gives up her seat to a woman with a crying baby. The baby stops crying when he sees Yokomon and then begins yanking on her pistil. Yokomon then cries out to stop pulling on her, bringing everyone's attention to the two. However, Sora makes it look like she is a ventriloquist, and everyone believes her. As the train nears Nerima, a man asks where she got the "doll," so she tells him that she bought it at the Nerima Department Store. Everyone else then runs off the train to go buy one.
The gang falls asleep and accidentally misses the stop, eventually waking up at the end of the line. They decide to change trains to make it to their destination, but Izzy, Motimon, Joe, and Gomamon get separated from the others. Izzy tries to locate them using his digivice, but for some reason it won't work. They then go out to the street and almost run into a large digimon disguised in a hat and coat. However, they see the gang in a restaurant and then head there, never noticing the digimon. When told that they spent all the money on food, Joe gets angry. Izzy then notices that his digivice is working again and theorizes that it must only work within close proximity.
Because they are out of money, Sora convinces her cousin Dwayne, who just happened to be passing by, to give them a ride in his van. At an intersection, Wizardmon passes by carrying balloons and being followed by children. However, the gang doesn't notice. Later, Koromon goes to the bathroom in the van, making Sora's cousin angry. Out of anger, he grabs Joe, and when Izzy tries to get him to stop, Dwayne pushes him. Izzy stumbles backwards and off of the bridge, but Motimon digivolves into Tentomon and saves him. A giant, squid-like digimon known as Gesomon then appears, prompting Gomamon to digivolve into Ikkakumon. The two battle as bystanders watch. They then go underwater, and a few seconds later, Gesomon's copy of the eighth child's tag and crest floats to the top.
Dwayne looks around for the gang, but they are nowhere to be seen. Elsewhere, the gang uses Ikkakumon as a mode of transportation to go home...

2.Matt successfully hitch-hikes and picks up a seductive-looking woman in a red sports car, only to turn down a ride from her.
3.Sora and Mimi hitch-hike by holding up a sign saying, "Take us to Odaiba", which would lead to a stranger (who became Sora's "cousin" in the dub) picking them up.
