MetalSeadramon blasts Zudomon with his River of Power, reverting him back into Gomamon. Luckily, Whamon appears, and after tackling the Dark Master, he takes the gang to safety within his mouth. MetalSeadramon then sends a group of Divermon to find them.
Stopping by an island, the gang fishes off of Whamon. Izzy then informs them that the key to defeating the Dark Masters is WarGreymon, who is a Dramon destroyer because his weapons are very effective against Dramon-type digimon. Meanwhile, Gomamon is swimming underwater. He speaks to some fish, who inform him that Divermon are coming. Gomamon then alerts the gang, and they depart inside of Whamon. A little while later, Izzy connects a few cables between his computer and Whamon's hard drive, allowing the gang to see what Whamon is seeing.
The Divermon soon locate Whamon and then inform MetalSeadramon, who orders them to attack. However, Whamon surrounds himself with bubbles and manages to escape. The gang tells him to head to the surface so that they can fight the Divermon, but Whamon instead submerges even deeper. The Divermon follow but can't handle the extreme pressure, forcing them to retreat. Izzy then gets Kari to blow on her whistle, which Whamon uses as a sort of sonar in order to locate a tunnel.
MetalSeadramon finds Whamon and pursues him, but Whamon manages to elude him and then reaches the surface. However, MetalSeadramon locates them again. Agumon warp-digivolves, and while WarGreymon fights MetalSeadramon, the rest of the gang heads toward land. As Ikkakumon digivolves into Zudomon and destroys the Divermon, MetalSeadramon tries to eat WarGreymon. Inside of MetalSeadramon's mouth, WarGreymon struggles to prevent the Dark Master's giant teeth from chomping down on him...
