Recap

Ranamon is relaxing by an ocean, admiring herself in a mirror. She then realizes that instead of looking at herself in a tiny, handheld mirror, she can admire herself even more by looking at her reflection in the ocean. One of Mercurymon's mirrors appears in the water's reflection, and she asks him who the fairest in the land is. He replies that it is Kazemon, who has just entered the land, and the strongest is Zephyrmon. This makes her furious, so Mercurymon then taunts her that she will never to defeat Zoe. As Ranamon storms off, Mercurymon says to himself that no matter which one wins, he will have one less problem to worry about.
Meanwhile, Zoe is walking through a forest. A group of HoneyBeemon, who are fans of Ranamon, sees her. Zoe, feeling alone, has a flashback about hiking with her classmates on a camping trip. One girl has to stop because she hurt her foot, and Zoe gives her a bandage. The girl thanks her and says that she didn't think Zoe would be so nice after hearing what the other girls said. She then invites Zoe to have dinner with them that night. As the flashback ends, Zoe sadly says to herself that the girl seemed nice.
The HoneyBeemon try and trap Zoe in a cage, but she goes a different path. Frustrated, they fly down from the tree and get caught in the cage themselves! Zoe sees them, and wanting to help, she Spirit Evolves. She breaks the cage, and the HoneyBeemon thank her. However, as she flies away, they secretly mock her for supposedly being phony about caring. Later, the HoneyBeemon make a sticky web to catch Zoe/Kazemon. However, they end up getting stuck to it, and she then comes along and frees them. They run off, saying to themselves that she will eventually want to enslave them. They then vow to take her out so that Ranamon will love them. Their next attempt is to have a tree fall on Zoe/Kazemon. However, they cut it wrong, so the tree begins to fall on them! Luckily for them, Zoe/Kazemon saves them once again.
Meanwhile, as Koji enters another portal, Takuya is attacked by Parrotmon. Takuya Spirit Evolves and retaliates, easily winning. After taking the Parrotmon's fractal code and reverting to human form, Takuya sees an eyeball portal. It begins glowing, and when he touches it, he states that it feels alive.
Elsewhere, the HoneyBeemon give Zoe lots of food to thank her. Mercurymon shows this to Ranamon, who decides to fix the situation herself. As Zoe is sleeping, Ranamon gives a HoneyBeemon an apple for Zoe to eat and threatens to kick him out of her fanclub if he doesn't give it to Zoe. The HoneyBeemon follows orders, and when Zoe eats it, she gets sick and has more flashbacks. At dinner time on the camping trip, the girl calls Zoe over to eat with her group. However, the other girls refuse to let Zoe eat with them, so the girl that Zoe befriended gives her the excuse that they're already using all of the pots and pans. Zoe calls her a liar, and the other girl sadly runs off. As the flashback ends, Ranamon taunts Zoe about her being unpopular.
In a dark forest, JP is alone and hungry. He sees a large tree with cherries and goes to pick some. However, the tree reveals itself to be Cherrymon and then attacks. JP Spirit Evolves and wins after a few attacks. After he reverts to human form, an eyeball portal appears. He jumps through it and emerges outside of Sakkakumon, where he is greeted by Bokomon, Neemon, and Tommy. They look back up at Sakkakumon and see the shadows of Ranamon and Zoe in one of the spheres.
Back by the ocean, Ranamon tells Zoe that her friends secretly talk bad about her behind her back. Zoe can't believe that but then remembers that she was also surprisingly mean to the girl. She then vows to be a better, nicer person. This angers Ranamon, who hits her across the face with flowers, which makes Zoe snap out of it. Zoe Spirit Evolves, but before she attacks, Ranamon reveals that the HoneyBeemon aren't really her friends. Zoe/Kazemon is then trapped by Ranamon in water from the ocean, but she manages to break free and Beast Spirit Evolve. Ranamon does the same, and the two battle in the water. Calmaramon quickly subdues her and attacks with her Titanic Tempest, slamming Zoe/Zephyrmon into the ocean's floor.
Calmaramon thinks she has one, but Zoe/Zephyrmon resurfaces. The HoneyBeemon then state that they have decided to join Zoe/Zephyrmon's fanclub! This angers Calmaramon, who covers Zoe/Zephyrmon in her Acid Ink. However, Zoe/Zephyrmon washes it off in the water and knocks Calmaramon onto the shore. Using her Plasma Pods, she reveals Calmaramon's fractal code and then takes both Spirits, reverting Ranamon into a digi-egg. As the HoneyBeemon celebrate, an eyeball portal appears. The HoneyBeemon then fly her to her friends outside of Sakkakumon...
