Stuck In Sakkakumon With You - Recap

Outside of Sakkakumon, Duskmon says Koji's name to himself as the shadow of Koji appears on the center sphere. The rest of the gang, minus Takuya, also sees Koji's shadow, so they Spirit Evolve to rescue him. However, the sphere is shielded, so when they fly into it, they are deflected by to the ground, causing them to revert to their human forms. To their surprise, they then see Duskmon flying towards the sphere, and he manages to slip through the barrier. The gang wants to warn Koji but has no way to do so. Zoe then ponders if they can somehow use the D-Tectors like a cell phone.
In Sakkakumon, Takuya is wandering through one of the tunnels between portals. His D-Tector suddenly activates, and when he holds it, Zoe's voice can be heard. When he responds back, she reveals that she is outside with Tommy, JP, Bokomon, and Neemon. They warn him that he is inside of Sakkakumon, the Beast Spirit form of Mercurymon. They try to contact Koji, but when they can't, they inform Takuya that Duskmon has gone after Koji. Takuya then runs through an eyeball portal to save him.
In the center sphere, Duskmon appears behind Koji and then grabs him. He demands to know how the two of them are connected and why he came to the Digital World. Duskmon then begins searching Koji's memories. In a flashback, Koji is in a flower shop to buy flowers for his parent's third anniversary, and the employee questions why it's only their third, since Koji must be at least twelve. Koji then receives a call on his cell phone asking if he's willing to play a game to determine his future. He replies "yes" and is given instructions to go to the basement of Shibuya Station. Duskmon then briefly has flashbacks through the eyes of the boy identical to Koji that Takuya saw when he returned to the Real World.
Another flashback has Koji looking at a photo of his mother. His father walks in, saying that he knows it's been rough since his mother died, but he now needs to accept his step-mother. Koji replies that his step-mother will never be his real mother and that he doesn't need a mother anymore. His father pleads for him to at least be nice to her. Outside of the flashback, Duskmon decides that he must put an end to the pain he is feeling.
As Takuya is in a frozen tundra and is attacked by an IceLeomon, forcing him to Spirit Evolve, Duskmon drops Koji and clutches his head in pain. The shadow of Cherubimon appears and tells him to show no mercy and to eliminate Koji. Duskmon returns to his evil self, so Koji Spirit Evolves and attacks. Outside, the gang watches both battles, and Bokomon reveals that Seraphimon's digi-egg is shaking!
In the tundra, Takuya/Agunimon and IceLeomon battle. The two seem evenly matched, but Takuya/Agunimon manages to land a fiery kick. After Takuya/Agunimon takes IceLeomon's fractal code, two eyeball portals appear. He jumps through the one leading to the center sphere. Meanwhile, Koji/Lobomon Beast Spirit Evolves, but he is quickly defeated, reverting to his human form. As Duskmon prepares to destroy him, Koji apologizes to his father for not being nice to his step-mother and then promises to give her the flowers and to apologize to her.
Outside, the digi-egg begins glowing and then flies up towards the center sphere. It fires a beam of light, which pierces the shield. The beam of light then flies into Koji's D-Tector, causing a new symbol to appear on its screen. Koji is then suddenly surrounded by light, and both his Spirits appear beside him. Using both Spirits, he Fusion Evolves into Beowulfmon! He and Duskmon face off, and as they struggle to overpower each other, Koji/Beowulfmon sees a human boy inside of Duskmon! The conflicting powers of Light and Darkness create an explosion, and Takuya/Agunimon arrives just in time to see them flying through an eyeball portal. Outside, the gang watches in horror as the two fly out of Sakkakumon and into the distance.
As the digi-egg flies to down Neemon, Duskmon and Koji/Beowulfmon land in a forest. The shadow of Cherubimon appears, telling Duskmon to cover the world in darkness. Duskmon sets off to do so, and Koji/Beowulfmon follows, hoping to find out who the boy within Duskmon is and how they are connected.
