Recap

Lost within Sakkakumon, Takuya/Agunimon runs through the tunnels, eventually ending up in a world filled with mirrors. Mercurymon then appears, and the two battle. However, Mercurymon is too fast for Takuya/Agunimon to hit. When he is finally about to land a punch, Mercurymon dodges it by stepping into a mirror, for in this world, he can travel through any polished surface! After Takuya/Agunimon dodges a few falling metal spires, he demands that Mercurymon fight him. When Mercurymon reveals himself, Takuya/Agunimon attacks with a Pyro Punch. However, Mercurymon deflects it back at him, knocking him down. After telling Takuya/Agunimon to follow him, Mercurymon steps into an eyeball portal.
Takuya/Agunimon pursues Mercurymon, finding himself in a pitch-dark room. Lights then appear, revealing the room to be a large church. Mercurymon appears, and Takuya/Agunimon demands that he stop playing around. Obeying, Mercurymon snaps his fingers, and Seraphimon enters, tied up in thorns. Takuya/Agunimon orders him to release Seraphimon, but Mercurymon reveals that what he is seeing is only a copy of Seraphimon's data. Harnessing the copied data, Mercurymon then digivolves into ShadowSeraphimon!
Easily overpowered by ShadowSeraphimon, Takuya/Agunimon Beast Spirit Evolves into BurningGreymon. However, not even his Beast Spirit is enough. After being hit by the Strike of the Seven Dark Stars, Takuya/BurningGreymon reverts back to his human form. ShadowSeraphimon then creates a coffin to put him in. Outside of Sakkakumon, the gang watches in horror. They then Spirit Evolve to once again try to break through the shield. By attacking all at once, they begin to break through. However, ShadowSeraphimon begins to crush Takuya's head, so Bokomon begs Seraphimon's digi-egg for help. It responds by firing a beam of light through the sphere and into Takuya. Harnessing the power of both of his Spirits, Takuya breaks free of ShadowSeraphimon's grip and then Fusion Evolves into Aldamon!
ShadowSeraphimon's attacks are useless against Takuya/Aldamon, who then attacks with his Atomic Inferno. ShadowSeraphimon's fractal code is revealed, and Takuya/Aldamon takes it. The fractal code then leaves his D-Tector, returning to Seraphimon's digi-egg and zapping Bokomon. Mercurymon escapes to the previous world through an eyeball portal, but Takuya/Aldamon follows. Using his Solar Wind Destroyer, Takuya/Aldamon destroys all the mirrors. Not wanting to have any of his projectile attacks deflected back at him, Takuya/Aldamon merely stabs Mercurymon instead. After taking Mercurymon's fractal code and Spirit, he then exits Sakkakumon through an eyeball portal.
After landing and reverting to human form, Takuya finds the gang around Bokomon, who is shrieking in pain. Takuya asks what is happening, and all they know is that Bokomon was zapped by Seraphimon's data. To their surprise, Seraphimon's digi-egg then hatches into Patamon! Distracted by the newest arrival, the gang fails to notice that one of the symbols on Sakkakumon is glowing...
