Davina McCall, Alan Carr and Christian Jessen host this marathon evening of entertainment, fundraising and science, concluding Channel 4's campaign to raise awareness of cancer. Cheryl Cole opens the show with her hit single Call My Name, Leona Lewis performs Run, there are editions of Chatty Man and The Million Pound Drop Live, and Derren Brown aids a mystery celebrity in a game of high jeopardy - Paintball Russian Roulette. David Hasselhoff takes on a special role, giving his personal take on how the disease affects everyday life, while those popping up to give their support in a mixture of live appearances and recorded messages include The Simpsons, Bradley Cooper, Tom Daley, Kylie Minogue, Leona Lewis, Jonnie Peacock, Emeli Sande, Jenson Button, JLS, Jimmy Carr, Jack Whitehall, Anna Friel, the cast of 8 Out of 10 Cats, the English National Ballet, Martin Freeman and Simon Bird. Throughout the evening, Dr Christian is on hand to explain the science behind new cancer trials it is hoped can be funded, and to introduce stories of those who have been affected by the illness.
