At Prometheus Academy, people are given student jobs (much like internships) for certain careers. Hercules is estatic that he has gotten 'Hero World', but it was a mis-pronounciation, so he is actually sent to 'Gyro (GEE-ROW) World.' Adonis uses this fact to torment Hercules to the point that he quits. He goes to see his dad, Zeus, who tells him that he would've quit, as well, and that he'll get him another job. Zeus gives Hercules the job of driving Apollo's chariot of the sun, which helps him get back at Adonis, but when Hades hears about this, he decides to steal the sun!

When Hercules is driving the chariot of the sun, Pain & Panic come by and burn through the chains holding the sun! How crazy is this idea?! I mean, the chains can withstand the heat of the sun, they can't withstand the heat of a blow-torch? | The entire series could have taken place in the movie except for the fact that Hades and Hercules knew each other in the series. In the movie, Hercules didn't meet Hades until he was an adult and Hades didn't know Hercules was even alive until later in the same time period. |
