The show revolved around two summer camps for children. Camp Runamuck was for the boys and Camp Divine, just across the lake, was for the girls. The four people in charge of the boys camp (Spiffy, Wivenhoe, Pruett and Doc Joslyn) were constantly fighting with the counselors of Camp Divine (Yeudleman, Eulalia Divine, Gruenecker).
