The team make their way to the rocky outcrops of the Serengeti, in Tanzania, where they film a tiny lizard as it risks its life to eat flies from a sleepy lion’s face. They also find out about the nesting habits of the four-foot-tall shoebill. On the plains of Amboseli, the extreme weather conditions take their toll and a baby elephant dies in the drought and its mother leaves the rest of the herd to stay with her child until the very end.
