Artha Penn used to be a normal teenager. Then an accident at the family stables and the disappearance of his father gives him some new responsibilities. Artha is given a piece of armor from an Ancient Dragon Priest named Mortis, and is told that he is the Dragon Booster, a person who is to stop the coming dragon-human war.

2x3: The Leap of Lorius recap: Word has Moordryd kidnappe Lance inorder to lure the Dragon Booster into a trap to turn him and Beau into wraiths. unfortunate, Moordryd and Lance get caught in the trap as well. After the now a Wraith Booster escapes the trap to do Word's bidding, Moordryd is left to babysit Lance. kit and Parmon try to help Artha fight the wraith gear, but unfortunate Payne's power is too strong for him to fight. payne wants to turn all the humans of Precinct, Down and Mid City into statues so he can go unstopped in starting the Dragon-Human War. Lance sees a different side of Moordryd, one that is caring, as he trys to calm Deception down. Moordryd feels he has no choice but to take Lance back to town. Wraith Booster is activating these "mind pods" that send out a cloud of black draconium that turns all the humans into statues. Once they reach town, Moordryd drops Lance off and then heads back to his crew's hangout, only to find them frozen. Freaked out he heads back into town only to see that ALL humans are statues, and what REALLY upsets hm is that Lance too fell prey to this evil trap. Moordryd hunts doewn to find the Dragon/Wraith Booster and takes out his father's serveilance so he can help unseen. He tells Artha what Lance had told him about "releasing the dragon" and with Deception's help, the Wraith Gear is removed, and Dragon Booster is back to normal.
