Duckman

Duckman

Duckman premiered on 5 March 1994 on the USA Network and aired on Saturday nights at 10:30 PM over 4 seasons and a total of 70 original episodes with the final show airing on 6 September 1997. This series was originally titled Duckman: Private Dick/Family Man, but was eventually shortened to just plain Duckman. It was a weekly animated cartoon about a Duck who was a Private Eye/Private Dick that investigated many different mysteries with his partner/side kick “Cornfed Pig”. Duckman was voiced by veteran actor Jason Alexander who is most well known for his role as “George Louis Costanza” on the situation comedy series Seinfeld for 9 seasons between 1990 and 1998. Cornfed was voiced by actor Gregg Berger who is a veteran at voicing many different characters since he began playing many different role voices in the weekly animated cartoon series The Jetsons in 1962. Duckman is an alcoholic, he is ignorant, he is always very rude and crude to everyone and he is a very sloppy Duck. He has not had a date in many years after the death of his beloved wife and has this job to help make enough money to pay his bills. Dana Hill, Dweezil Zappa, Elizabeth Daily, Nancy Travis and Pat Musick provided the other character voices on the show.
