Four banana, three banana, two banana, one!
Who doesn't remember the Tra La La song?
In a psychedelic backdrop, four zany animals host a television series featuring four segments which included live action and animated segments.
Created by Sid and Marty Krofft, and produced by Hanna-Barbera Productions
The Banana Splits ran on NBC Saturday mornings from September 7, 1968 to September 5, 1970.
It consisted of four main segments which include: The Arabian Knights, The Three Musketeers, Micro Ventures and Danger Island (live-action). Other Hanna-Barbera favorites, especially those from The Atom Ant Show and The Secret Squirrel occasionally appeared on this hour long program.
The Splits, when not racing their Buggie cars, playing 'wacky' games or singing to pre-recorded song tracks the gang could be seen cavorting around their Banana Pad indulging in nonsensical jokes.

Fleegle: Beagle, Bass Player and Leader of Gang
Snorky: Elephant and Plays Keyboard
