Ed, Edd n' Eddy is a popular animated series from Cartoon Network & AKA Cartoon. It was created by Danny Antonucci, and debuted January 4, 1999. It's been running for over seven years now which makes it reigning as the longest running original cartoon on Cartoon Network.

The show follows 3 preteen boys who live in the town of Peach Creek. These three boys all have the same name but with very different personalities. They go around their suburban cul-de-sac neighborhood, thinking up scams to perform on the neighborhood kids so they can get cash and buy those mouth watering jawbreakers they all crave. Their scams usually fail and only leave them either beaten up or socially rejected by the angry kids. Consider them outcasts.

Although scamming is what they like to do mostly, it's not all they do. They also try to socialize a bit with the other kids, but it never usually works. Ed, usually watches tacky B-movies in his room or playing with his toys, Edd will do experiments on insects and creating new things, or cleaning, and Eddy just relaxes in his 70s themed room listening to music and reading or looking at his secretive magazines.

Up until Season 5, the show took place in the summer, which gives the Eds a better chance of making their scams happen. But when Season 5 came and is still here, Summer was over and it was time to go back to school. Everyone, even young Sarah and Jimmy, attend Peach Creek Jr. High. Although the kids we all know are the only ones we see at school, no teachers, staff, or any other students at all we see. But they are there, somewhere. However, scamming and getting cash is still in the Eds' book.

The Rules of Ed, Edd 'n' Eddy
1. No other human characters appear in the show except for the original cast, with the exception of the Kanker Sisters, who didn't appear in the first episode.Any other characters only appear in silhouette or shadow, and the unsilhouetted arms of adults appear only when nessesary. None of the unseen characters ever have diologue.

2. Every character appears in each fifteen-minute segment. Once again, the Kanker Sisters are an exception to this rule, only appearing subsequently.
