Faerie Tale Theatre (Change Layout)

"Faerie Tale Theatre" Summary

Shelley Duvall and Playhouse video brings to life your favorite fairy tales. With stars such as Robin Williams, Vincent Price, Carrie Fisher, Jeff Goldblum and Billy Crystal Faerie Tale Theatre is fun for kids of all ages.

"Since I was a child, I've been in love with the heroes and villians, the magic and the morals of faerie tales. When I was seventeen, I began collecting antique illustrated volumes of the classic faerie tales. Over the years, my collection has grown somewhat. In talking about the tales with my friends and fellow actors, I've found that all of them, young and old alike, were enchanted and excited about the possibilites of performing the stories, dramatizing the tales in the style of the old master illustraters with the video magic of modern technology and just a touch of humor.
And so, with the love of faerie tales -- and a little help from my friends -- Faerie Tale Theatre tranfers these classic stories from the printed page to the television screen." -- Shelley Duvall.
