Bill agrees to drink the mystery mixture which contained peanut butter, yet it is revealed in a later epoisode that he is allergic to peanuts.
 
Lindsay mentions that there's a new "Friday the 13th" movie showing. The original "Friday the 13th" came out in May 1980; the sequel "Friday the 13th Part 2" didn't come out until May 1981.
 
 
Cultural References
 
During this episode, Mrs. Weir hands Mr. Weir a vampire cape, telling him to "put this on". There's a little pause put in for SCTV fans to remember that Mr. Weir - Joe Flaherty - played Count Floyd in the famous sketch comedy.
