When Adam Barnes died three years ago, his twin brother Derek took over his website (OccultResearch.com), renaming it FreaklyLinks.com and using it to explore the weird and unexplainable. After receiving a video taken at an ATM machine a few days earlier that shows Adam alive following a woman away from the bank, Derek enlists the help of Adam's former fiancée Chloe to find out what's going on.

Episode Notes

Nobody's Real by Powerman 5000 was used as the original theme for the series, but the show opted to go with an original theme song for future episodes rather than pay the royalties that would have been needed. When the series re-aired in syndication, the opening was replaced with the song and imagery used from episodes two to thirteen.

When the episode aired in syndication years after original airings, there were two additional scenes added of the FreakyLinks crew back at the house. The first scene was added to the beginning, and featured Jason and Derek discussing a waitress at a fast food restaurant and having been scooped by Gunt(h)er Mahlberg, the second featured Jason bringing an unwelcome surprise to Lan and Derek at the very end.
