"F Troop" Summary |
| |
A military farce about the gallant incompetents of F Troop at Fort Courage was set in Kansas in 1866, during the final days of the Civil War. Dopey officers and wacky indians make for a lot of laughs. The group is led by the clumsy and confused Cpt. Parmenter, a family member of a long line of military heroes. Sgt. O'Rourke leads the troop and also runs a business on the side with his partners, the Hikawi Indian tribe. Crp. Agarn is his right hand man and fellow business partner. Wrangler Jane runs the local store and has her eyes on Captain Parmenter. She also happens to be a better marksman then any of the soldiers of F Troop. The Hikawi indians are led by Wild Eagle and his second in command Crazy Cat. They are two of the most non savage-like warriors of the wild west. The series may have ran for only two seasons, but they were a remarkable pair of seasons.
