G.I. Joe: A Real American Hero was a half-hour animated series based on the G.I. Joe toyline from Hasbro and comic book series from Marvel. The show began with several mini-series before becoming a regular syndicated series.
After a few seasons the show would be cancelled. Sunbow Productions would not continue production for a third season as the company folded.
