George and Mildred

George and Mildred is a spin-off from Man About the House about an ill-matched married couple, George and Mildred Roper.

The start of this series sees George and Mildred leaving their flat and move to a modern, upmarket housing estate. Their arrival horrifies their snobbish neighbour Jeffrey Fourmile, an estate agent who's convinced that the Ropers' presence will devalue his home.
