A series about two single mothers moving in together to save money. Dolores has two sons while Cathy has two daughters. The series was created as a midseason replacement for TGIF. It provide Telma Hopkins a series of her on while working in a limited role on Family Matters.
The series was good enough to green light a second season. However ABC wanted it to head a new Saturday night lineup. The producers balked at the offer and moved the series to NBC, where it lasted for one season before getting cancelled.
