| Gidget: Hello, operator? Would you please ring this number? It must be out of order because I haven't had a call in over a week. Not even a decent wrong number! |

| Episode Title: "In God, and Nobody Else, We Trust"
The episode title is a play on the United States of America's national motto, "In God we trust". The national motto became such in 1956 and is found on US currency. One possible origin of the national motto is a line from the US national anthem reading, "And this be our motto: In God is our trust." |

| In the burger joint scene, Gidget references episode 1 when she mentions the arrangement made with her steady boyfriend regarding her opportunities for dating other people during his college year at Princeton. |
