Mr. Lawrence: (to John) It would increase family harmony considerably if you'd stop treating every visit to this house as a field trip to a small sanitarium! |

Episode Title: "Is It Love or Symbiosis?"
The episode title is based on a commonplace phrase of the era regarding newly formed intimate relationships: Is it love or sex? | Jerry: (to Russ) It'll be La Dolce Vita!
'La dolce vita' (Ital.) means 'the sweet life' but Jerry's reference is probably to the Fellini film La Dolce Vita released in 1960 to great acclaim and controversy. The film depicted the decadent lifestyles of modern Romans.
