A eclectic group of characters go out on a chartered boat ride while in Hawaii and awaken to find themselves marooned on a deserted island.
After a harrowing storm, Gilligan and the Skipper feel it's their duty to set off on a bamboo raft to find help. While on their way back to Hawaii, the pair encounter a large shark, in which Gilligan destroys the raft while fighting the shark off.
After hearing on the radio that a hurricane is going to strike their area, Skipper informs the castaways that they must build a communal hut. But each of the group believe that their ideas are the best and build individual huts instead.
Skipper feels the island is hexed due to the unexplained list of missing supplies from the storage hut. But when a chimpanzee replaces Gilligan while on night-watch, Skipper starts believing that voodoo is to blame.
