1 :01x01 - In the Beginning
Detroit autoworker Bob Alman is dazed and confused when God and the Devil approach him with a bet on whether he can prove the world is worth saving.
2 :01x02 - Andy Runs Away
When Andy tells his friends that his father's friends with God, they insist that he proves it. But when God's a no-show, Andy runs away to Canada in embarrassment. Meanwhile, Megan develops a raging crush on Steve, her mother's study partner; and the Devil makes an effort to be nicer to Smeck.
3 :01x03 - Date from Hell
Upset that Bob merely finds him to be an annoyance, the Devil sets out to instill fear in him by going out with Megan. Meanwhile, God tries to cheer up the residents of Detroit.
4 :01x04 - The Devil's Birthday
The Devil, upset that God has forgotten his birthday, decides to rid the world of evil in order to show God just how much he needs him. Bob thinks the world should be great without evil, though he eventually realizes that evil is necessary and he attempts to get God and the Devil back in a working relationship. However, he realizes that it’s not going to be easy to end a feud that has been going on for over a millennium.
5 :01x05 - Neighbor's Keeper
On his next assignment from God, Bob teeters on the edge of adultery after he's sent over to a neighbor's house to talk to the wife about her adulterous ways.
6 :01x06 - God's Favorite
A series of brushes with disaster mistakenly convince Bob he's invincible and he tells a depressed Devil that he is now God's new "special guy."
7 :01x07 - Bob Gets Commited
When Bob defaces a billboard along the highway, he gets arrested - and when he tells the police he's God's messenger, he gets committed.
8 :01x08 - Lonely at the Top
Feeling lonely up in heaven, God comes down to hang out with Bob at work, at home and, to Bob's ultimate dismay, at the company's Saturday night baseball game.
9 :01x09 - Bob Gets Greedy
When the Devil misplaces his palm pilot, he discovers that Bob has actually taken it from him and he’s using it to win a fortune by getting the next day’s sports scores and them gambling on the winning team. God warns Bob that he shouldn’t be messing around with such things, though the Devil shows up with an offer that may be too good for Bob to pass up.
10 :01x10 - There's Too Much Sex on TV
God says there's too much sex on television and that Bob needs to go to Hollywood, the source of the problem, to do something about it.
11 :01x11 - Bob's Father

Bob visits his dying father with the intention of making amends, but he winds up riddled with guilt when he tells his dad to "go to Hell" moments before he expires. Meanwhile, Megan brings home a stray dog.
12 :01x12 - God's Girlfriend
While God is busy trying to avoid a woman he believes has fallen in love with him, the Devin and Smeck sneak up to heaven to start a little mischief.
13 :01x13 - Bob Gets Involved
Bob leads a rather clueless vigilante group determined to fight against the evils of society - totally unaware of how his actions will impact his family.
