It is nearly New Year of 1994 and Gary and Yvonne are back from their skiing holiday. Yvonne is depressed as she has lost her job and her self esteem is at an all time low. Ron is having trouble with his wife who is having a New Year party but isn't troubling to tell Ron about it.
Back in 1941, Phoebe is in trouble with Gary's landlady, Mrs. Bloss, whose brother works for the Employment Office. He threatens Phoebe, telling her that he will have her recruited into the armed forces if she doesn't stop her affair with Gary. Gary discovers some information about Mrs. Bloss which he is able to use to stop her and her brother from harrassing Phoebe.
During World War 2 Great Britain had summer time daylight saving all year round because of the dangers of walking around or driving in the black-out, so Gary is able to celebrate New Year 1942 and New Year 1995 with both Phoebe and Yvonne respectively. | | There are no foreign summaries for this episode: Contribute |
