Episode Notes

Esther Rolle decided to leave the show dissatisified with show's direction, similarly to John Amos' decision of the previous season. In the story, Florida marries Carl Dixon and moves out-of-state, leaving her family behind. Esther was so disappointed with this storyline feeling that Florida moved on way too quickly, remarrying less than one year after her husbands death.
