Grace Under Fire

Grace Kelly is a recently divorced mother of 3 children who escaped an abusive relationship with her husband, Jimmy, a recovering alcoholic. Grace gets a job working at an oil refinery along side a group of men, who resisted the thought of having a woman working along side them. Grace becomes good friends with her neighbors Nadine and Wade Swaboda, and also has an old friend Russell Norton, who works at a local pharmacy. Grace suffers the usual daily grind that comes with being a single mom working at a low paying, back-breaking job, while trying to raise her young kids and despite meddling from Jimmy's mother, Jean Kelly.
