"Green Acres" Summary |
| |
Oliver Wendell Douglas and his wife, Lisa, who's used to living the good life, move from a swanky penthouse in Manhattan to a run-down shack in Hootersville so he can become a farmer. Lisa is not used to running a household and can only cook hotcakes, which seem to be made from rubber. The home they bought was owned by Mr. Haney, a con man who sees a way to make a buck in everything he does. Neighbors include the Ziffle's, along with their "son" Arnold the pig, who loves to watch TV and seems to be able to communicate with the Ziffle's. The Douglas' handyman is named Eb, who lives in the barn and calls the Douglas' mom and dad.
