Televisation of Prime Minister's Question Time usually broadcast live from the House of Commons. The first was broadcast in November 1989 whilst Margaret Thatcher was the Prime Minister and it continues to this day. As time and technology has moved on PMQs has moved on and is now also broadcast on BBC Parliament, on Politics Today on BBC One and also can be streamed live on the BBC Parliament website.
PMQs has seen many an iconic moment and these include the shock resignation of Chancellor Geoffrey Howe in 1990, the resignation of Margaret Thatcher as PM again in 1990, the case for the Iraq War in 2003 and then the resignation of Cabinet ministers Robin Cook and Clare Short and in 2004 Fathers 4 Justice broke into Parliament and threw purple flour at the then Prime Minister Tony Blair.
