In this episode it' s stated that the two were childhood friends. However previous episodes dispute this claim and the Kristy didn't appear until season 3. She was not mentioned in the previous two seasons.

The Coach has the team go to bed at nine o'clock. Eugene gets upset when he thinks he will miss seeing 7th Heaven. 7th Heaven never aired at nine o'clock during it's run in any time zone. Eugene would have been able to see the show before nine o'clock.
