  Episode Notes
An outtake from this episode featured Howard completing the toast, then looking around, saying "Chuck? Where's Chuck?!" This was featured on the "ET in TV Land: Happy Days" special, as it was part of ET's original coverage of the filming of this episode. It was also re-enacted, in a way, for the first "Happy Days" reunion special in 1992.

This two-part episode was conceived as the series finale.

Kevin Rodney Sullivan is credited as "Kevin Sullivan."

Anson Williams does not appear in this episode.

  Episode Quotes
Roger: I got Joanie and Chachi the most wonderful wedding present: the full set of Encyclopedia Americana. It's the official source for Jeopardy! What did you get them?
Fonzie: A car.
Roger: A car is not a window to knowledge.

Howard: Well, what can I say? Both of our children are married now, and they're starting out to build lives of their own. And I guess when you reach a milestone like this, you have to reflect back on... on what you've done, on what you've accomplished. Marion and I have not climbed Mount Everest or written the great American novel, but we've had the joy of raising two wonderful kids and watching them and their friends grow up into loving adults. And now, we're gonna have the pleasure of watching them pass that love onto their children, and I guess no man or woman could ask for anything more. (looks into camera) So, thank you all for being part of our family. To happy days.
Howard's closing speech; the last lines of the series.

  Episode Goofs
Howard mentions Richie and Joanie, his and Marion's two children, but seems to forget about Chuck.
