Hawaii Five-O (1968)

Hawaii Five-0 was the codename for an elite unit of the Hawaiian police force, answerable only to the State Governor. The unit was made up of four men, and tasked with fighting organized crime, international crime, felonies, and basically anything the regular police couldn't handle. The leader of Five-0 was Steve McGarrett, a tough Irish cop who wouldn't give up no matter what. Under him were such men as Danny "Danno" Williams, Duke Lukela, Chin Ho Kelly, Kono Kalakaua, and Ben Kokua. They took on a wide variety of crimes in their 12 years but their one persistent nemesis was Wo Fat, a Chinese intelligence agent who later went freelance as a crime lord and inevitably managed to escape Five-0 to return another day.
