Jimmy Stewart is back, playing a country lawyer with an international reputation. It was a successful movie on TV 1972 season, and turned into a rotating series. In the first episode, Hawkins is in Hollywood defending a film star's husband accused of killing a man for allegedly assaulting his stepdaughter. Sheree North plays the movie star, and Cameron Mitchell is her husband-defendant.
